How and when can I donate to someone's campaign?

Donations to a participant’s campaign may begin on the day of the local campaign kickoff taking place sometime between January and March. Click on the Donate button and follow the instructions to find a participant’s fundraising page. If you prefer not to donate online, you may also write a check payable to Blood Cancer United and give/mail it directly to the participant (be sure to add your participant’s name and "Student Visionaries of the Year" to the memo line so they'll receive credit for your donation).

May I participate in Student Visionaries of the Year without actually being a candidate?

Yes. There are a number of ways for people to participate in the campaign without being a candidate. You can join a candidate's campaign team as a fundraising team member, become a member of our Leadership Committee or you can nominate a candidate. Additionally, companies or businesses can partner with local campaigns or candidate teams by sponsoring unique components of the campaign.
