Meet Our 2020 Honored Hero: Tarin Bowles
Every year, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) chooses a young blood cancer survivor or patient to act as the face of the Students of the Year campaign, to inspire the candidates and remind them why they're raising funds for LLS. This year's Honored Hero is Tarin Bowles from Nashville, TN. Tarin is 9-years-old and is in the 4th grade at Lockeland Design Center Elementary. When she was 5-years-old, Tarin was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, or ALL, which is one of the most common childhood cancers. Tarin underwent treatment and is now in remission. She enjoys Theater Bug, running club, dance, Girl Scouts, and one day wants to attend vet school.
